Michael Hearne

Michael Hearne is the current Chief Financial Officer at Odonate Therapeutics. Michael has held this position since July 2007. Prior to their current role, Hearne served as the President/CEO of Lafayette Federal Credit Union from January 2004 to July 2007. In this role, they were responsible for all operations, finance, safety and soundness of the credit union. Michael also served on the Board of Directors and helped develop strategic plans, cash flow projections and five-year budgets for annual shareholder meetings.

In addition to their role at Lafayette Federal Credit Union, Hearne has also served as the Director of the Office of Planning & Budget at the US Small Business Administration from December 1991 to July 1996. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the budget planning process for the agency.

From January 2000 to December 2014, Hearne served as Managing Director of M&H Properties. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the company.

Hearne is a frequent speaker at banking conferences and has authored numerous articles featured in industry publications. Michael is also the primary liaison with the Board of Directors, Federal regulatory agencies, internal and external auditors, and media.

Michael Hearne has a BA in Political Science/economics from the University of Rochester and a degree in Public Administration from George Mason University - School of Business.

They are on a team with Jennifer Schroeder - Vice President of Program Management and Technology, Tracey McKennon - Vice President of Quality Assurance, and Thomas Wei - Chief Scientific Officer. Their manager is Kevin C. Tang, Chairman & CEO.
