Alexander Xiong is a Machine Learning Intern at ODU Virginia Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center (VMASC) since June 2020, where responsibilities include evaluating malicious attacks on machine learning algorithms and enhancing defenses against membership attacks. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Researcher at Rice University’s Kavraki Lab, a Summer Research Intern at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and internships at the Renaissance Computing Institute, Duke University, and North Carolina State University. Alexander holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Statistics from Rice University, with additional education from North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and Enloe High School.
