Ginger Watson is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of instructional design and technology, currently serving as the Director of the Technology-Enhanced Learning & Performance Laboratory at the ODU Virginia Modeling, Analysis, & Simulation Center (VMASC) since August 2022. Previously, Ginger held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Virginia from July 2017 to July 2022, focusing on simulated learning within the School of Education & Human Development, and was an Associate Professor at Old Dominion University from July 2007 to August 2017. Ginger's industry experience includes serving as Chief Scientist for Evaluation, Assessment & Research at Raydon Corporation and Chief Scientist at the National Advanced Driving Simulator during time at The University of Iowa. Ginger holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Design & Technology from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in Instructional Design & Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
