Jonathan Stephens has worked in the aviation industry since 2006. Jonathan began their career at Shell Aircraft International as a Graduate Engineer. In 2006, they joined Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) and held several roles, including Future Fighter Certification Manager, Protector RG-1 Deputy Resident Airworthiness & Safety Manager (Cert), Certification Advisor (DE&S Airworthiness Team), Voyager Release to Service Manager, and Graduate Engineer & Training Pilot. In 2019, they moved to Lilium as Deputy Head of Airworthiness, and in 2022 they became Head of Certification at Odys Aviation.
Jonathan Stephens obtained a MEng in Aerospace Engineering with Astronautics from the University of Southampton in 2006. Jonathan also obtained a Chartered Engineer certification from the Engineering Council in July 2014.
