Sha Beizaee

Head of Structures at Odys Aviation

Sha Beizaee is an experienced engineer with a history of working in the aerospace and automotive industries. Sha began their career in 2005 as a Mechanical Engineer at Pargasiran. In 2014, they became a Research Fellow at the University of Houston. In 2015, they joined EMAS Chiyoda Subsea as an Engineer III - Structural Analyst (FEA Engineer). In 2016, they joined Virgin Hyperloop as the Integrated Product Development Lead - EM Engines, with responsibility, authority and accountability for the product cost, schedule, and technical scope. Sha also held roles as Senior Manager of Electromagnetic Systems, Manager of Structural Analysis - EM systems, Lead Mechanical Analyst - Propulsion/Levitation, and Senior Structural Analyst. In 2021, they became the Head of Structures at Odys Aviation.

Sha Beizaee obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston between 2011 and 2013. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Mechanics: Computational and Material Mechanics from Chalmers University of Technology between 2008 and 2010. Sha also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Solid Design) from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) between 2003 and 2008. Additionally, Sha Beizaee obtained a Certificate in Music Theory and Composition from Sorayesh Music Academy between 2004 and 2007.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Sha Beizaee has obtained certifications in Harassment Prevention for Supervisors CA from CalChamber in July 2017, OSHA10 from ClickSafety in July 2016, and ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING from the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists in December 2014.
