Ioanna Lekkakou

Ioanna Lekkakou, PhD, currently serves as the Dean of the Greek Program and Greek Language and Culture Instructor at Odyssey Charter School since August 2020. With a robust background in education and language, Ioanna has held various positions including Adjunct Assistant Professor of Humanities and Fine Arts at Ocean County College and Online Greek Language Instructor for the US Air Force. An accomplished writer, Ioanna has produced a poetry collection and translated numerous works from French to Greek. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Education with a focus on Theatre in Education from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, in addition to advanced studies in world language teaching at Stanford University. Ioanna's extensive experience spans over two decades in the field of language education, translation, and curriculum development.
