J. Brady Smith is an experienced educator and advocate in the fields of special education and English language instruction. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Odyssey Charter School since September 2022, J. Brady Smith has expertise in managing IEP compliance, tracking student progress, and co-teaching high school Math classes. Over a decade of involvement with the English Language Institute at the University of Delaware has included various instructional roles, focusing on supporting English learners in multiple subjects. Additionally, J. Brady Smith founded The Way Organization Foundation to empower at-risk youth through mentoring and counseling. Previous teaching positions include roles as a Special Education Teacher and Math Teacher at Cedar Park Middle School and a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in various subjects at New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District.
