Odyssey Geophysics
Ashby Cooper is the Founder and CEO of Odyssey Geophysics, an Australian geophysical service provider that specializes in seismology and the development of software for processing scientific time-series data. Prior to establishing Odyssey Geophysics in July 2017, Ashby worked as a Contract Geophysicist at Geoscience Australia, where significant contributions were made to the AusArray passive seismic deployment project. Ashby's earlier experience includes roles as a Geophysicist with Environmental Systems & Services Pty Ltd, focusing on Ocean Bottom Seismograph data processing, and as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, working on palaeo-bathymetry projects. Ashby’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geophysics from the University of Tasmania and ongoing study for a Master of Business Administration at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
