Reid SantaBarbara

Reid SantaBarbara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Reid is currently the Co-founder and CEO of Odyssey, a streaming metaverse platform that allows brands to communicate with their communities through virtual environments. Reid leads Odyssey using Lean Startup methodologies and emphasizes equitable communication and empowerment of team members.

Prior to Odyssey, Reid worked as a Partner at Hotmax, LLC from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they founded and served as the CEO of Reid Santabarbara Design (RSD) from 2013 to 2020. RSD aimed to solve problems in the event industry and created innovative design and management workflows.

Reid was also the Co-founder and CEO of Ride-Show, a SaaS B2B advertising startup targeting the live event industry, from 2015 to 2017. Ride-Show served geo-fenced ads to rideshare passengers as part of live event advertising campaigns.

Earlier in their career, Reid worked at Connors & Co. Events, Inc. as a Creative Director from 2015 to 2016 and as a Production Manager from 2013 to 2015. Reid started their career at Seattle Theatre Group, Moore Theatre, serving as a Lighting Designer and ME from 2006 to 2012.

Reid SantaBarbara completed their education in the field of Integrated Lighting Design at the University of Washington's Professional & Continuing Education program. Their studies occurred between an unspecified start year and concluded in 2011.
