Michael James Laurie

Michael James Laurie has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michael James started their career in 2007 as a Team Leader at U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM). Michael James then served as a Technical Security Consultant at Joint Special Operations Command from 2012 to 2013. Following that, they worked at US Army, where they held various roles including Security Project Manager, Project Manager, and Special Security Representative, with responsibilities such as managing dangerous tasks, responding to emergencies, and safeguarding top-secret documents. In 2017, they joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory as an Operations Supervisor and later served as a Special Security Representative. From 2019 to 2023, they worked at Frontier Technology, initially as a Security Professional and later as part of the Sensors and Data Services Group. Currently, they are the Director of Corporate Security at Odyssey Systems.

Michael James Laurie attended Gloucester High School, where their education history began. Michael James then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies at Boston University from 2011 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael enrolled in the Questrom School of Business at Boston University for an MBA, which they pursued from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, they attained an Intermediate Nuclear Weapons Certificate from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in 2015.
