Adele Atkinson

Adele Atkinson is a Professor of Practice in Financial Literacy and Wellbeing at the University of Birmingham, where they supervise PhD candidates and conduct research. With 25 years of experience, they have worked as a Policy Analyst at the OECD, informing global financial inclusion policies and contributing to numerous high-value projects. Adele has held roles at the United Nations Capital Development Fund, focusing on financial and digital literacy assessments in various regions. They also run their own consultancy and are a Fellow of Netspar and a Research Associate of the G53 Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Research Network.
