Carlos Santiso

Carlos Santiso is a global development leader with a robust background in multilateralism, development finance, and governance. They currently serve as the Head of Division for Digital, Innovative and Open Government at the OECD, focusing on digital infrastructure and government innovation, while also contributing to UN advisory groups on public governance. With previous roles at institutions like the Inter-American Development Bank and CAF, they have structured and delivered over 112 loans totaling more than $5.5 billion to promote democracy and tackle corruption in developing countries. Carlos holds a PhD in Comparative Political Economy from Johns Hopkins University and has pursued multiple executive education programs at prestigious schools, including Harvard Kennedy School.
