Catherine Anderson

Catherine Anderson currently serves as the Team Lead for Governance for Development at the OECD Development Cooperation Directorate, where responsibilities include leading initiatives on governance and effective institutions, designing the GovtNet work program, and fostering international partnerships. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Public Sector Specialist at the World Bank, where Catherine managed governance programs in conflict-affected regions and provided policy advice on natural resources management. As an Advisor on Justice and Conflict, expertise was applied to implement justice and security programs. Catherine has also worked as a Public Administration and Local Governance Research Consultant at the United Nations Development Programme and held various positions focusing on governance and human rights within the United Nations and New Zealand's Ministry of Justice. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws with Distinction from SOAS University of London and a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington.
