Daniel Ferreira has over two decades of experience in research, innovation, and policy related to science and technology, currently serving as the Head of Studies and Planning Division at Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia since March 2012. Responsibilities include coordinating research and innovation teams, tracking ICT R&D activities, and conducting studies on the digital economy. Ferreira also holds roles as an NCP and expert for Horizon Europe, a national delegate at the OECD, and previously coordinated indicators for Portugal's Digital Agenda. Holding a Master’s Degree in Economics and Management of Science, Technology and Innovation from ISEG and a graduation in Sociology from Iscte, Ferreira has managed numerous statistical operations and surveys related to information and communication technologies throughout a diverse career.
