Jari Kauppila

Jari Kauppila serves as the Head of the Secretary-General's Office at the International Transport Forum since January 2020. With a long-standing career at the OECD, Kauppila has held multiple roles, including Head of Quantitative Policy Analysis and Foresight Division and Head of Statistics and Modelling. Additional experience includes serving as a Docent at the University of Turku since December 2013, a Ministerial Adviser at the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Finland from 1999 to 2007, and a Senior Statistician at Statistics Finland from 1998 to 1999. Jari Kauppila earned a PhD in Economic History from the University of Helsinki.
