Jerry Sheehan currently serves as the Director for Science, Technology, and Innovation at the OECD - OCDE since July 2023. Previously, Jerry held various positions at the National Library of Medicine, including Deputy Director and Assistant Director for Policy Development, where responsibilities included directing the development of NIH policies for managing NIH-funded data. In the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Jerry served as Assistant Director for Scientific Integrity & Data Access and Assistant Director for Scientific Data & Information, leading initiatives to enhance scientific integrity and access to research data under both the Biden and Obama administrations. Earlier roles include Principal Administrator/Senior Economist at OECD - OCDE, Senior Program Officer at the National Academy of Sciences, and Analyst at the US Congress. Jerry holds a Master of Science in Technology and Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
