Juan Matos serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Dirección General de Impuestos Internos since August 2020 and as an Expert Assessor on Confidentiality and Data Safeguards for the OECD since November 2022. Additionally, Juan is the Founder and CEO of Volarit, a company focused on advanced drone technologies for industrial applications, and holds the role of Vice President at Capítulo Internet Society de Republica Dominicana. In academia, Juan is a professor at Universidad Nacional Tecnológica, Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, and Academia Superior de Ciencias Aeronautica, while also serving as a Cisco Networking Academy Instructor. Previous experience includes managing the ICT Services Department at Instituto Dominicano de Aviacion Civil and leading the Division of Networking and Communications.
