Kurt van Dender

Kurt Van Dender is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in tax policy and statistics. Since July 2007, Kurt has held various leadership roles at the OECD, including Head of the Tax Policy and Statistics Division and Chief Economist for the International Transport Forum. Prior to this, Kurt served as a Professor at the University of California, Irvine from 2002 to 2007 and worked as a researcher at K.U. Leuven from 1996 to 2001. Kurt holds a Ph.D. in Economics from KU Leuven, obtained in 2005, and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Antwerp from 1985 to 1988.
