Naoko Kawaguchi

Naoko Kawaguchi is a seasoned professional in international relations and governance, currently serving as Senior Coordinator for Strategic Foresight at OECD since May 2012. In this role, Naoko also advises the Secretary-General and has held positions such as Head of the OECD Tokyo Centre and gender advisor. Previous roles include media and public affairs officer and acting head of the OECD Tokyo Centre, along with experience at the Consulate General of Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan. Naoko's academic background includes a Master of Philosophy in International Studies from the University of Cambridge and dual Master's degrees in History from the University of Edinburgh.
