Currently serving as the Head of Division for Economic Analysis, Data & Statistics at the OECD since January 2021, Rudiger oversees a team of approximately 30 staff members focused on producing evidence-based knowledge and statistics across various areas, including industrial transition to net zero carbon and local labour markets. Prior roles at the OECD include Head of Division for Economic Analysis, Statistics & Multilevel Governance, Head of the Urban Policy Program, and Head of Regional Economics and Governance. Rudiger's academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master's in Business Mathematics from Universite Paris IX - Dauphine, a Bachelor's in Economics and Mathematics from University Georg-August, Göttingen, and a Diploma in French Language and Culture from University Paris I - Sorbonne.
