Policy Analyst - Conflict & Fragility

Sarah S. is a skilled policy analyst with extensive experience in conflict and fragility issues, currently leading support for the OECD-DAC International Network on Conflict and Fragility since September 2021. Prior to this role, Sarah managed the EU Madad Fund programming for Iraq at the European Commission, focusing on addressing the needs of displaced individuals affected by regional conflicts. Past experience includes serving as a geopolitical analyst for iMMAP, advising the UK government on trade and economic affairs at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and providing political analysis at the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan. Equipped with a M.Phil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a BA in German and Russian from the University of Bristol, Sarah S. has proven expertise in policy development, donor coordination, and strategic communications within complex geopolitical landscapes.
