Wouter Coussement

Wouter Coussement is a seasoned professional in international development and cooperation, currently serving as the Head of Unit for Effective Development Co-operation at the OECD since October 2021. With a strong background in partnerships and strategic development, Wouter has previously held leadership roles at UNOPS as Head of Business Development, and served as a Programme Management Officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Wouter's extensive experience includes positions at UNDP, where roles ranged from Partnerships Advisor to Team Leader in the Partnerships and Management Support Unit, and prior work with the Quebec Government Office in the European Union. Educational credentials include a Master in Advanced European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe and a diverse array of degrees in Romance Languages, European Studies, and Human Sciences.
