Carola Poleij

Carola Poleij is an experienced marketing and communication professional currently serving as the Head of Marketing and Communication at Oerol Festival since March 2022. Prior to this role, Carola worked as a Strategic Communication Advisor and Mediatrainer at Technische Universiteit Delft from April 2017 to April 2022. Carola's experience also includes volunteering as a teacher and educational material developer for the GLOBE program in Suriname and supporting wildlife conservation initiatives with the Green Heritage Fund Suriname. Carola's career began with a Management Trainee position at TU Delft, following various internships including communication and marketing roles at VPRO and the Institute of Environmental Sciences. Carola holds an educational background in Tropical Biology and completed secondary education with a focus on Nature and Health at Montessori Lyceum Rotterdam.
