John Akerman Özgüc

John Akerman Özgüc is an experienced videographer, composer, and photographer currently working at Aquinox Media since May 2018. With a background in neuropsychology, John focuses on societal change through impactful film and music. Additionally, John has been actively involved in the music industry as a composer, DJ, and recording engineer with Aquinox Music since November 2009, and provides DJ services through DJsandmore. John also serves as a bartender at Oerol and a cameraman for Luminosity Events Foundation. Past roles include translator for the Landelijke Studenten Vakbond and various positions at Utrecht University, including opinion maker and university councillor, focusing on sustainability and policy improvement. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utrecht University and has engaged in further studies in music business and sound design at the University of Victoria.
