Principal Scientist, Biochemistry And Biophysics at Oerth Bio

Eric Sullivan has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Eric is currently working as a Scientist in Biochemistry at Oerth Bio since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an IRTA Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) from December 2017 to October 2021. Eric also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan from August 2016 to November 2017. In addition, Eric worked as a Researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2010, where they focused on enzyme characterization and investigated reaction mechanisms. Before that, they held the position of Field Manager at the Fund for the Public Interest in 2009, where they led and organized employees on canvassing trips. Eric also gained experience as a Student Researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2008, conducting research on desert shrubs and studying plant interactions and phenology. Eric Sullivan completed their education at various institutions. Eric began their academic journey at North Olmsted High School from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The College of Wooster from 2007 to 2011. Lastly, they pursued further specialization in Chemical Biology, earning their PhD from the University of Michigan between 2011 and 2016.
