Joachim P.

Joachim P. currently serves in the Bankenanalyse role at Oesterreichische Nationalbank since September 2023. Joachim is also a long-standing member of the Management Board at the Austrian Computer Society since May 2013. Previously, Joachim held the position of Head of Cyber & Information Security / CISO at Erste Group from February 2021 to September 2023 and has lectured on Secure Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria - Hagenberg Campus from September 2015 to September 2022. Additional experience includes roles as IT Security Officer at Austro Control, lecturer in IT Security at UAS Technikum Wien, and Quality/Risk Manager at T-Systems Austria. Joachim’s career began as an IT Security Expert at T-Systems and included an internship at the Federal Office for Information Security. Joachim earned multiple degrees in Corporate Security & Risk Management, Technical Management, Secure Information Systems, and Computer and Media Security from various universities in Austria.
