Jon Heasman

Jon Heasman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the broadcasting and media sectors. Currently serving as a project manager for small-scale DAB at Ofcom since 2004, Jon has been instrumental in the rollout of low-cost terrestrial radio services in the UK, developing key policy frameworks and managing compliance processes. Previously, Jon held various editorial roles at Billboard from 1995 to 2003, including managing editor of Music & Media, where oversight of a pan-European editorial team was crucial. Earlier career experiences include positions at The AA, Newpoint Publishing, and Mercia FM, which provided a strong foundation in media relations, journalism, and radio broadcasting. Jon holds a BA in Politics from the University of Warwick.
