Kim Shillinglaw is a seasoned board member with a diverse background in media, science, and technology. Currently serving as a board member for Ofcom and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology since 2020, Shillinglaw also holds board positions with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, Music Publishers Association (UK), and Natural England. As Chair of the Discovery Decade project, Shillinglaw focuses on public attitudes towards UK research and innovation. Previously, Shillinglaw had significant roles at Endemol Shine Group and the BBC, including directing factual programming and overseeing commercial initiatives. Education includes a degree from the University of Oxford, completed in 1989.
