Owen Bennett

Owen Bennett is a seasoned professional in communications and policy management with significant experience in the technology and digital sectors. Currently serving as a Principal at Ofcom since September 2022, Bennett previously held the position of Senior Policy Manager at Mozilla, contributing to public-benefit technology initiatives. Earlier roles include Public Affairs Consultant at Political Intelligence and a Policy Executive during a secondment at EuroISPA, where experience was gained in digital policy advocacy. Additional work included positions at ICF Mostra, Boxangel, and Trinity College Dublin Students’ Union, highlighting expertise in communications and engagement with diverse stakeholders. Owen Bennett holds an LL.M in Information Technology Law from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy & Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
