Ravi Bhanabhai

Ravi Bhanabhai is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in natural language processing and AI consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior NLP Scientist at Ofcom since September 2022, Ravi also leads data science projects at The Machine Learning Consultancy, contributing to transforming data into market value. Prior roles include Chief Data Scientist at talkAItive, where Ravi implemented core AI modules and developed MLOps systems, as well as managing data science efforts at WeDiscover and overseeing projects for the City of Toronto. Ravi's academic background includes a Master's in Systems and Computer Engineering from Carleton University and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Ryerson University. Additionally, Ravi has shared expertise as a guest lecturer at the Schulich School of Business.
