Alex Guirguis

Alex Guirguis has had a varied and successful career in the tech industry. Alex began their career in 2002 as a student at the University of Waterloo, graduating with a degree in Mathematics/Computer Science and a Minor in Economics. In 2005, they joined Entredea Inc. as a Software Developer, designing and building scalable Web 2.0 applications. In 2007, they held two positions simultaneously, Software Development Engineer at Golder Associates and Program Manager at Expedia. At Expedia, they were responsible for key features to grow the company's European market share. In 2009, they joined Amazon as a Software Engineer on the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) team. Finally, in 2015, they became the Cofounder & CEO of Off The Record, Inc., a company that uses technology to fight traffic tickets.

Alex Guirguis attended the University of Waterloo from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's of Computer Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as a BS in Computer Science.
