Mary Kearney

Mary Kearney is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Executive Librarian at Gorey Library under Wexford County Council since October 2023. Previously, Mary worked as a Librarian at Offaly County Council from November 2020 and held the role of Library Assistant at Kildare County Council and Offaly County Council, where notable contributions included co-coordinating a county-wide STEAM program and organizing a Comic Con event to enhance library engagement. Mary’s career also includes positions as an Assistant Librarian at IBAT College Dublin and a Volunteer Library Assistant at Carlow County Library. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Library and Information Studies from University College Dublin, a Certificate in English Language Teaching, and a Bachelor's degree in English and History from Carlow College.
