Public Safety and Community Support

The Public Safety and Community Support team at Offaly County Council is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and safety of the community. This team comprises a Veterinary Inspector, Retained Firefighter, Volunteer, Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Tourism Liaison Volunteer, and Traveller Tenancy Sustainment Officer. Their responsibilities range from animal health oversight, emergency firefighting and prevention, community volunteering, enhancing tourism safety, and supporting Traveller community housing needs. Together, they contribute to creating a secure, supportive, and inclusive environment for all residents of County Offaly.
