Peter Sun, MEL PMP

Peter Sun has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Peter started their career as an Architectural Technologist at NORR in 2016, gaining proficiency in construction and design development drawings. In 2018, Peter joined Gosen Properties Ltd. as a Development Lead, contributing to projects until September 2020. Simultaneously, they pursued their passion for photography and videography, establishing their own business under Peter Sun Photography in December 2018. In 2019, Peter transitioned to the real estate sector, working as a Real Estate Associate at Interlink Realty until January 2023. In 2021, they broadened their skill set by working as a Sustainability Analyst at Scius Advisory from May to August, and as a CDL Venture Student Analyst at Creative Destruction Lab from September to December. Currently, Peter holds two roles in 2022. Peter is a Business Strategy Consultant and Business Data Analyst at OFFERLAND, as well as an Economic Transformation Analyst focused on Green Buildings and Decarbonization at the Vancouver Economic Commission, both positions starting in April 2022.

Peter Sun has a diverse educational background. In 2021, they obtained a Master of Engineering Leadership (MEL) degree in Urban Systems from The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Architectural Science degree in Architecture from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Peter also holds a Real Estate Trading Licence from the UBC Sauder School of Business and has studied Architecture at the Università degli Studi di Ferrara. Additionally, they earned a Diploma in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

In terms of certifications, Peter obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022. Peter also holds an Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification from WorkSafeBC, achieved in September 2022. Furthermore, Peter obtained a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from the Real Estate Council of BC in February 2019.
