Vladimir Kovalyov

Volodymyr Kovalyov has a diverse and extensive work experience. Volodymyr is currently the Chief Architect & CTO at Fasterpay, a global payments platform that combines blockchain technology. Volodymyr has been in this role since April 2017.

In addition to their role at Fasterpay, Kovalyov also holds the position of Chief Architect & CTO at Terminal3, where they have been working since April 2017.

Before these roles, Kovalyov co-founded Paymentwall, Inc. in 2010 and served as a Co-Founder & Board Member. Paymentwall is a leading global payments platform that allows users to make payments using various options. Before becoming a Co-Founder, they were the Chief Architect at Paymentwall from March 2016 to April 2017, and the CTO from 2010 to March 2016.

Prior to their work at Paymentwall, Kovalyov worked at OutCubator as a Team Leader from 2007 to 2010. During their time there, they were involved in building various startups in different locations.

Kovalyov also has experience as an SAP R/3 Consultant at Incom Corp. from June 2006 to January 2007, and as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Closo.com from May 2004 to June 2006.

Volodymyr Kovalyov began their education in 1992 at Kyiv Pechersk Mathematical Liceum "Leader," where they studied Mathematics and Physics. Volodymyr completed their studies there in 1999. Following that, from 1999 to 2005, they attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,' earning their M.S. degree in Computer Science. In 2002 to 2004, they also studied German at the Goethe Institute Kiev, although no degree was specified.
