Principal Nuclear Safety Inspector- Chemical Engineering Assessments at Office for Nuclear Regulation

Neil Blundell is a Principal Nuclear Safety Inspector at the Office for Nuclear Regulation, responsible for Chemical Engineering Assessments of Nuclear Facilities. Neil also serves as the Delivery Lead for the development of a new Regulatory Framework for a UK SSAC and as the Head of Science ABWR and GDA Programmes. Neil has extensive experience in nuclear safety, waste management, decommissioning, and international regulatory activities. Prior to this role, Neil worked as a Deputy Division Head at the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency and held various roles at different companies such as BNFL and UKAEA Harwell. Neil's expertise in chemical engineering and nuclear safety make him a valuable asset in the industry.
