Jessica Prestidge

Jessica Prestidge currently serves as the Head of Strategy at the Office for Students, beginning in April 2024. Prior to this role, Jessica was the Deputy Policy Director at the Centre for Social Justice from May 2023 to April 2024 and held the position of Director at WA Communications, focusing on investor services, from December 2022 to May 2023. Jessica's experience with the UK Civil Service as a Special Adviser from July 2019 to October 2022 involved providing policy and political advice to Cabinet ministers. Additionally, Jessica worked as a Political Adviser for the Conservative Party, contributing to social, education, and culture policy development from November 2017 to July 2019, and served as a Parliamentary Researcher in the House of Commons from November 2016 to November 2017. Jessica has an extensive academic background, with degrees including a PhD in History from Durham University, an MA in Issues in Modern Culture from UCL, a BA in History from King's College London, and studies at Renmin University of China in marketing, communications, and modern literature.
