Rod Harlan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rod started in 1994 at Adobe as a Training Specialist, where they trained users at trade shows and conferences and produced marketing content. In 2000, they became a Training Specialist at the National Association of Broadcasters. In 2004, they joined Future Media Concepts as a Training Specialist. From 2006, they worked as a Council Member at GLG, providing industry-specific knowledge to global business and investment leaders.
In 2013, Harlan became a Creative Solutions Strategist at Ready On Demand, Inc, leading and supervising teams for creative development. Rod also worked at Adobe as a member of the Advisory Council for Creative Suite & Creative Cloud, providing feedback on future product directions and promoting new offerings across social networks.
In 2016, they joined Photofocus as a Writer and Producer, creating photographic and marketing articles, as well as producing podcasts. In 2017, they became the Director of Business Development at Digital Juice, responsible for expanding sales and improving distribution channels and social media presence.
From 2018, Harlan served as the Director of Ad Sales and Business Development at Creative COW, where they grew digital advertising sales and created new business revenue streams. In 2021, they worked as a Business Consultant at Office Hours and as a Certified Training Specialist at Primestream.
Rod Harlan attended Colegio Internacional de Carabobo from 1973 to 1985, where they completed their primary and high school education. Rod then went on to graduate from Clearwater High School in 1987. From 1987 to 1989, they attended Saint Petersburg College and earned an AA degree in IDS. Finally, from 1989 to 1991, they attended Carson-Newman University and obtained a BA degree in Communications.
