Michael Himmelstein has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Honeymoon Israel Foundation, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Office Images Inc. from April 2015. Before that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Southern Care Associates, LLC, where they performed accounting, consulting, and strategic projects for various industries. Michael has also worked as a Partner at Tatum, LLC, a Senior Manager at Aprio, and as an Executive VP and CFO at Southern Care Centers, Inc. and Vice President-Finance and Accounting at Nursing Centers of America, Inc. Michael began their career as a Staff Accountant at Connally Pechter and Company, PC. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated their ability to improve profitability, manage financial functions, and provide consulting services in various industries.
Michael Himmelstein attended the University of Delaware from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In 1982, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Georgia.
