Amanda Powell

Amanda Powell possesses extensive experience in youth defense and juvenile law, serving as a Youth Defense Consultant, Attorney, and Trainer at both the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel since January 2023 and The Gault Center since March 2016. Previously, Amanda served in various capacities at the Office of the Ohio Public Defender from November 2003 to March 2016, culminating as Supervising Attorney in the Juvenile Appellate Division. Amanda holds a Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School (2000-2003) and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Kent State University (1986-1990).
