Tim Hanson

Tim Hanson is a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in stakeholder engagement, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Coordinator at the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta since June 2022, Tim previously held roles such as Community Engagement & Fund Development Manager at Edmonton Meals on Wheels and Social Media Coordinator at Athabasca University Students' Union. Tim has also contributed to marketing and operations at the Edmonton Poetry Festival and held an internship in Marketing and Communications with the Town of Devon. Additional experience includes serving as Digital Marketing Manager at West Edmonton Coin & Stamp/Edmonton Comics and Public Relations Advisor for Alberta 3D PPE. Tim's educational background includes a Bachelor of General Studies in Arts and Sciences with a focus on Political Science and Communications from Athabasca University, as well as an After-Degree Diploma in Public Relations from MacEwan University.
