Colorado State Public Defender
Dilan Sutliff is a Deputy State Public Defender in Colorado, with extensive experience representing indigent individuals in misdemeanor, traffic, juvenile, and felony cases since August 2017. Previous roles include serving as a Certified Legal Intern and a Legal Intern for the Colorado State Public Defender, where advocacy and courtroom representation were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes managing a high client caseload as a Case Manager at Andrus Wagstaff and assisting licensed attorneys at Student Legal Services at Colorado State University. Educationally, Dilan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Communication Studies from Colorado State University and furthered academic pursuits at the University of Colorado. Additional experience includes facilitating community discussions as a Senior Student Associate at the Colorado State University Center for Public Deliberation and directing youth sports programs with Skyhawks Sports Academy.
