Kyle Hughes

Chief Information Officer at Colorado State Public Defender

Kyle Hughes has a strong background in information technology management. Kyle started their career as a Data Systems Manager at the State of Colorado in 2002, where they directed the operation of two statewide database systems. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the Research and Data Analysis Manager, overseeing the statewide service system for persons with developmental disabilities. Kyle then moved on to become the Director of Information Technology at Developmental Pathways, a nonprofit organization, from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they managed the IT department and provided support to approximately 600 staff across multiple locations. From 2013 to 2016, they held the same position at Nonprofit Management Services of Colorado, Inc., where they were responsible for the overall management and operations of their IT department. Currently, Kyle is working as the Chief Information Officer at the Colorado State Public Defender's Office, where they provide direction and leadership for their information technology initiatives and enterprise systems.

Kyle Hughes has a solid education history in the field of technology. Kyle completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, where they obtained their MBA in Information Technology from 1999 to 2001.
