Claudia Leonor

Claudia Leonor is an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Fellow at the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in Arlington County, VA, since August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Attorney in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic and as a Research Assistant to Professor Julie McConnell at the University of Richmond School of Law, where Claudia also held roles as a copy editor for the Public Interest Law Review. Claudia has completed judicial internships with the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia, working under Judge M. Hannah Lauck and Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen. Additional experience includes a summer internship in the Criminal Division at the United States Attorneys' Offices and a research assistantship at New America. Educational background features a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Princess Anne High School, along with studies at Universidad de Sevilla.
