Catherine Quan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in budget management and financial operations within academic and governmental settings. Currently serving as the Financial Management Functional Lead at the Office of the Comptroller of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since July 2020, Catherine is integral to a major systems transformation initiative. Previously, Catherine held the position of Director of Budget and Treasury Services at Framingham State University, managing various budgets and banking operations. Prior roles include Budgetary Unit Manager at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Assistant Controller at MassBay Community College, and multiple accounting positions within the Commonwealth. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Technology from Bentley University and two MBA degrees from Framingham State University.
