Alexandra Lara is currently a Financial Products Engagement & Data Specialist at the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer since September 2023, and has held the role of Product Manager at Curiosity Media since October 2019. Previous experience includes serving as a Civic and Community Engagement Intern at the Office of the Chicago City Treasurer, and participation in GEICO’s Leadership Preparatory Program as well as working as a Product Modeling Analyst. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Emory University. Additionally, Alexandra has held various roles ranging from a Student Manager and Tutor at Emory University to a Jr. Data Analyst and a Sales Associate, showcasing a diverse skill set in data analysis, product management, and community engagement.
