Ashton Kulavic, CPA has a diverse work experience. They started their career as an Auditor at Sikich in 2013 and worked there until 2015. They then joined the State of Illinois where they served as an Accountant from 2015 to 2017 and later as a Public Service Administrator from 2017 to 2018. They then moved on to the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer as an Unclaimed Property Audit Manager from 2018 to 2021. Following this, they worked as the Director of Finance and Reporting at Horace Mann from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as the Chief of Unclaimed Property at the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer since 2023. Additionally, they also serve as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor at Lincoln Land Community College since 2023.
Ashton Kulavic, CPA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Business/Management from Western Illinois University. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Springfield.
