Erin Slone

Erin Slone has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Erin has worked at the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer as the Deputy Director of Illinois Funds for Outreach since 2023. Prior to that, Erin served as a Village Board Trustee for the Village of Park Forest, Illinois, where they played a crucial role in enacting legislation for resident health, safety, and welfare. Erin also drove environmental sustainability efforts and organized local food forums to educate the community.

From 2020 to 2023, Erin was the Director of Strategy & Operations at Attune to Grow, a non-profit organization. In this role, they oversaw operations and strategy, facilitated workshops for Christian organizations, and championed process automation for increased efficiency.

Before that, Erin founded their own consulting practice, Innov8 Labs Inc, in 2015. Erin worked as a Marketing Consultant, supporting clients across various sectors and leading marketing efforts for a political candidate.

Erin also gained valuable experience at Wizely Finance as the Chief of Staff, Loop Capital as a Vice President in Investment Banking, Ziegler in renewable energy and healthcare finance, Loop Capital Markets as an Analyst in Public Finance, and Bank One NA as a Credit Analyst in Middle Market Commercial Banking.

Through their roles, Erin has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial analysis skills. Erin has also excelled in team building, organizational development, and process improvement.

Erin Slone holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Chicago. Erin also holds a diploma from Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. Additionally, they have earned certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Lean Sigma Corporation in 2017 and as a Professional Scrum Master - Level 1 from Scrum.org in the same year.
