Jacqueline Kerns has a diverse work experience. Jacqueline most recently served as the Deputy Director of Alternative Investments at the Illinois State Treasurer's office starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief of Staff at Green Cow Venture Capital, where they supported an early-stage venture fund focused on investing in diverse founding teams leveraging deep tech solutions. Before that, they worked as a Young Artist at the Houston Grand Opera in 2019. Jacqueline also gained experience as a Global Wealth & Investment Management Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch in 2016.

Jacqueline Kerns holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice and Opera from Northwestern University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the same institution. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the ILPA Institute certifications in Real Assets for the Limited Partner and Private Equity for the Limited Partner from the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA), the Ultimate VC Course on How to Model Investment Rounds from Udemy, and the LearnHTML Course from Codecademy.
