Johan Riano is a Community Affairs Specialist at the Illinois State Treasurer since May 2018, where responsibilities include networking with various stakeholders and educating residents about available programs. Previously, Johan served as a Participant Services Specialist, assisting government agencies in transitioning their payment processes. In the mortgage industry, Johan has worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Paramount Residential Mortgage Group Inc. and as a Mortgage Loan Originator at National Home Mortgage Inc., focusing on mortgage application processes and risk assessment. Earlier experience includes roles at Ray Chevrolet as a Sales & Leasing Consultant and Digital Content/Tech Team Lead, where customer engagement and technology demonstrations were key. Johan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago in Film/Video and Photographic Arts and has completed Graphic Design credits at Harper College.
